Free Backgrounds: Brookside Gardens
Brookside Gardens 50-acres of gardens and their seasonal special exhibits is located in Maryland and is part of the Wheaton Regional Park, Montgomery County Maryland park system.
Visit Brookside after dusk between Thanksgiving and Christmas to walk within their large indoor train garden and the Garden of Lights
throughout their outdoor gardens.
Enduring a dreary winter day's and have the need for a tropical
moment ... head over to the Brookside's conservatory to find bright patches of flowering plants underneath the large palms, ferns and
banana trees.
Summertime Brookside Gardens provides the indoor fairy-land like world of live butterflies. After a stroll from the upper parking towards the
lower parking lot we approached the conservatories. Even before we entered the indoor Wings of Fancy (live butterfly) exhibit at the
conservatory we found numerous butterflies outside enjoying the flowers lining the pathway.
Brookside Gardens acres of outdoor strolling gardens include: azalea garden, rose garden, children's garden, formal garden,
fragrance garden, and the Japanese style garden.
We visit Brookside several times a year, so we have lots of photos. I decided to divide our photos into several webpages which you can
